Question:
HAS ANYONE OVER 65 HAD WLS?

a lady who had surgery this year at 67 posted one day this week on the message board. i don't remember her name but she said she was doing fine. I was 56 and am fine. I felt my recovery was a little slower than some of the younger gals. but hey, when you grow older everything kind of slows down. (lol)

I am 66 plus 6 months. I had surgery last Tuesday. I have had no problems. I did not even have the leak test because my doctor said everything went so well they can tell if you need it. I was up and around a few hours later. The only real pain I had was gas which walking helps and back and hip pain which I had pre-op due to atristis. They gave me liquid medicine and I have slept better then in the last five years. Good luck. Check all your doctors credentials to make sure you have the best
