Question:
Has anyone out there used Tricare Prime for coverage of the lap band surgery

i have tricare prime but just used it for rny not sure what questions you have as to whether i can help but i will if i can =)

Tricare Prime covered my RNY and I am pretty sure they cover lapband. Just call and ask the benefits department or talk to your PCM who is giving you your referral.

tricare covered my RNY I would seriously consider RNY if possible....much nicer

I have friends who have used TCP for lap-band. It is easier to get approved for lap-band than RNY. If you have specific questions, I can put you in touch with them. Please e-mail my personal account, [email protected], since I don't often check my oh account.
