I haven't tried the designer whey by biggest loser because it isn't a good quality protein. You want to look for protein powders that list whey protein isolate as the main ingredient, not whey protein concentrate.

Do you have a "smoothie king" in your area? If so they have a whey protein called "Gladiator" 45 gr of protein. It taste good, mixed with 1 cup water, some ice cubes and a banana or strawberry or the fruit of your choice. If you google smoothie king they may have one in a mall nearby. Try the Gladiator and if you like it, buy the container. Plus my daughter is having the gastric sleeve operation, and the dietician at Sibley Hospital has this protein listed on the approved proteins. Hope this is helpful.

I've used chocolate Designer Whey since before I had my LapBand surgery in 8/08. I have found it to be satisfactory. I am also a former chef, so I also tend to add things to my shakes, such as a teaspoon of Nestles Quik or sugar free pudding, sometimes a peeled, cut-up apple, 2 scoops of dried milk, 1/2 cup of plain yogurt and 1 cup of fat free milk.
