I have found that GNC has the best. They aren't cheap around 36.99. But
you get 60 grams of protien in the 3 scoops. Mix it with 1% milk 12 oz and
you have all your protien for the day! Its a little sweet for me, but I do
it for the 12 oz instead of the 45 oz I was drinking to get it all down.
Good luck!

Head to Walmart, they have Whey Protein containers that are $14.99 in
chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, two scoops 50gm of protein with 16oz 1%
milk. I like the chocolate the best, they also sell Pure Proten bars which
are a good source of protein when your on solids and that has 20 gm of
protein. Hope you enjoy the new you.

I use Bariatric Advantage High Protein Meal Replacement; 27 grams of
protein in one scoop for a total of 35 grams of protein when you add the
milk. I blend in a banana and or peanut butter. It tastes like a
milkshake from Baskin Robbins. The protein powder comes in various
flavors. I use Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, and Unflavored for my soup
or oatmeal. I love it. You can be creative and add fresh strawberries or
flavored yogurts to get different flavors.

I also use the brand sold at WalMart. The name of it is Body Fortress. They
also sell Body Fortress Super Whey Protein Shots in Fruit Punch Flavor. It
has 26g of protein. I mix it with Crystal Light or just ice water. It's a
nice change of pace from drinking the protein shakes.

Try the Vitamin Shoppe. they are much cheaper than GNC. I get Isopure
(due to some upset tummy issues) which isn't cheap but I only mix up 1/2 of
a shake and the container lasts a very long time. Your body can only
absorb 20-30 grams of protein at one time and whole shake is 50 grams. They
also have another one called Syntrax Nectar which is less expensive and
tastes really good.

Bariatric Advantage website has something called Nectar it comes in lots of
flavors, no carbs, 23 gr of protein/scoop. Its not cheap $31.95 a tub
(about $1 per serving) but it is so good I can eat it out of the tub
without adding water they are mostly fruit flavors my favorites are peach
and lemonade, also liked the Cherry, but the Caribean Cooler is much to
coconutty for me.

The best tasting, most protein I found is by Premier Nutrition and can be
purchased at Costco. One shake has 30 grams of protein, 1 gram of sugar
and only 5 carbs. Can't remember the exact cost, but much cheaper than
other I found. Another great source of protein is available at GNC and is
by New Whey liquid protein. 42 grams of protein, 0 sugar, 0 carbs and only
3.4 ounces. I pour it over ice and add some water. It then tastes like
cool ade.

The best IS none at all!! JUST SAY NO TO PROTEIN SHAKES!!!! Sorry I had to
yell but I can't stress enough to Not do them. They make you gain all your
weight back several years out. They are made for body builders to bulk up.
Get protein from food. The first year out don't worry about how much
protein you are getting in. Just make sure you eat. Small meals all day
protein from food first.
