Hi I had my surgery on 2/19/09. I can't stand soft boiled eggs so I soft
scrambled an egg at about 1 month out. I think it was the best thing I
ever had. Good luck to you.

I had lap-band surgery 2/4/09. I was looking forward to having an egg any
style. Bad choice. I forgot to really chew it up and it was my first
experience with food getting stuck. Over easy, sunnyside up works best for
me. By the way I was two weeks out when I had my first egg. Maybe too
soon but I was starving.

Personally I don't care for soft boiled eggs, but I scrambled one at 3
weeks out when I was allowed soft foods and it was delicious.

You should have your first food (whatever it is) from your list of approved
foods when your doctor recommends it. I have seen alot of comments onhere
and at my support group, that the boiled version of egg doesnt seem to do
too well. ? Perhaps theyolk is still too dry to go down good or the egg
whites? or combination of both. My doctors office recommends a soft
scramble when I am ready. the longer you wait to do the more difficult
foods, the better HEALED your stomach will be. Hope all goes well with the
Eggs.. Let us know how you did when you decide to eat them ok? It helps
those of us that are about to have surgery(mine is Monday 6/20) with our
journey as well. All insight to these type of things are of help! Take
care!

I had gastric bypass on 2 June and began having a soft boiled egg last
week. I tried scrambled but it did not sit well in my stomach and read
somewhere here that soft boiled might be better and it sure was.......and
yes that egg tasted like a thick steak to me....YUM

I had Gastric Bypass surgery the 9th of this month and had one scrambled
egg a couple of days ago, it took time passing through. I guess I should
have chewed it better, but no real issues.

I had scrambled eggs the 2nd week, boiled eggs the 3rd week with no
problems. I had lap band surgery.

My surgeon's eating plan allowed for moist scrambled eggs at week 2, also
the puree stage. However, the scrambled egg did not sit well for me.
Instead I had it over easy (runny yolk) and it was like manna from heaven!
