I didn't have that doctor but they put me on liquid Percocet. My doctor
told me to chew 4 Flintstone Complete Chewables a day, 2 Viactic calcium
chews and I used the Low Carb Carnation Instant Breakfast for my protein
shake. I was not allowed to eat any food for the first 2 weeks following
surgery. Just water, crystal light and the Low Carb Carnation Instant
Breakfast.

The minimum you should take is a multi vitamin X2, a calcium with D
(Caltrate is good) X2 and B-12 until your first bloodwork at 3 months. I
was taking iron because it came with a bariatric starter pack but when I
was tested my iron was through the roof so I stopped that. For the first
month all of these should be chewable or crushed because you can't take
hard pills. Protein - they say a minimum of 65 grams but I don't think that
is enoough. I try to get >100. You also want to start taking 5000 mcg of
Biotin now to try to avert hair loss.

Surgeons have somewhat different protocols for the first few weeks post op.
You'll need at least twice the RDA of adult vitains, calcium citrate, whey
protein and lots of water, minimum. Your surgeon should have given you a
description of diet, vitamin intake, calcium intake, amount of hydration,
etc. Call his office to get this list. You should ask the surgeon
directly.
