Question:
Has anyone been denied by insurance for a repair of a gastro gastri fistula?

I have been denied and the Dr submitted a letter saying this is medically neccessary due to the complications of severe abdominal pain, vomiting, heart burn and other problems. And how or what is the best way to appeal this and possibly go thru.    — KCookiebaker (posted on November 14, 2006)

Go to your favorite search engine and enter obesity surgery appeal letter. There will be several links come up. Find the one most like what you need. If you don't find one the first time you do the search, try another. I've found them several times this way.
