For me, it is a sign that I am full, that I probably ate too much. I
usually throw up that foam/secretion and feel better right away. I try to
keep from getting that full, I am afraid of stretching my pouch. (LapBand
11-07) I have not had a fill since 7-09 and I am still loosing, so far
126#.

It's the foamies - it is when you ahve eaten too much or pouch is full
& not digesting what you have had quick enough.

It can also be when your food is having a hard time passing through the
opening to your stomach. The liquid or foam is saliva manufactured when
your body thinks that it needs to help digest food. Take small bites, chew
well, eat slowly and stop when you begin to feel satisfied, NOT full. This
will go away if you do these things. Good luck!

question was misunderstood...foam is coming up in the morning on an empty
stomach, got so bad i was throwing up large amounts of clear fluid. i
went to emergency room and had a scope, had a very bad ulcer, i'm getting
treated for it now but the fluid is starting back again.

Get this when I over eat. It has gotten better over the past few months. My
surgery was in March 2009. I think as you get further out from your surgery
you learn better when you are "filling up."
