Question:
Does anyone post-op have myasthenia gravis?

Hey Kim, I would ask the doctor what to do. You may have to change your dosage because of your lack of absorption due to the type of surgery you had. I have a seizure disorder and I had lap band surgery. The reason I had lap band surgery was due to the absorption of my medication. Everything that goes in to my mouth is absorbed so there is not a guessing game to how much medicine I should take to have a therapeutic level.

Hey Kim, congrats on taking the huge step to have the surgery. You should have been told that your meds may have to be changed due to lack of absorption post-op. Talk to your doctor about this as you will probably have to increase the dosage. Good luck on your weight loss and the new you waiting around the corner!
