I know it's hard but you can actually eat more than you think you can. Any
kind of soup or canned veggies, manicotti, caneloni, applesauce, cottage
cheese, ricotta cheese, ground meats (chicken, beef, pork) seasoned to
taste or slow cooked in the crock pot, scallops, fish & shrimp chewed
well, fruits (bananas, ripe peaches, berries, ripe pears and canned
varieties), gnocchi, Whole grain pastas cooked well, luncheon meats,
yogurt, turkey sausage, omelets, peanut butter, nuts (ground or chewed),
fresh mozarella w/pesto & balsemic vinegrette.....hope this helps!!

I love protein puddings and egg custards as well. I got a little bored to
and ended up purchasing a few low carb cookbooks.
I love the puddings and custard from Susan Maria's book from
Bariatriceating.com. She is a chef and WLS patient so she really gets it.
George Stella's Low Carb and Loving It. Also, on BSCI's site, Chef Dave
has several cookbooks.
If you go to bariatriceating.com and type in recipes in the search box,
some do come up. You can get some for free without purchasing the book. I
will have to say, the book was very worth the money.
The internet is a vast resource, Sparkpeople has a lot of recipes as well,
just be sure they are appropriate for your stage of healing.
Good luck,

For some unknown reason, corned beef hash tasted like heaven when I was on
my soft food diet. I had never liked it before, but read somewhere that it
was a good choice for that diet stage...and it was! Good luck to you!

Hi Honey....well...at two weeks..I only ate eggs..yogurt..applesauce...lots
of protein....protein shakes...food that is low in sugar and fat...and
above all soft food.....little bites...eat slowly....chew food
throughly...try a new food every week..see how it does on your stomach
pouch...that is what the nurse told me to do...I'm SO proud that you have
made this journey......good luck...and I'll be praying for your
healing....your friend, Linda

I'm in week five and haven't eaten any of those foods that you are bored
with. I have eaten baked chicken, eggs, yogurt, green beans, sf pudding,
sf jello, danon lite smoothies, cranberry juice, mashed pototoes, eggs, but
other than that I was unaware that other foods could be added to my diet.

I especially loved sf custard, ricotta with spaghetti sauce and baked
talapia seasoned with Paul Prudhommes seafood seasoning,
