did your doctor say protein pills are ok? mine only wants me to get protein
from food or liquids. i plan to try to take one bottle of isopure from gnc
and put a scoop of unflavored unjury in it and sip on it thru out the day
that in itself gives you 60 grams of protein a day then whatever you eat is
just added on. i am worried about losing alot of hair so i will be taking a
5000 mcg of biotin and 80-100 grams of protein a day to try to prevent as
much as possible.

I dont know about any pills, but bariatric eating has a big variety of
items with high protein content you may want to look at...

I am pre-op (on liquid diet) and that's what I'm doing Kim. I drink one of
the Isopure a day and take the Biotin. I have unflavored protein coming in
the mail so I'll add that to my diet as well. Great idea..thanks!

Yes there are BUT you have to take 2-3 a day and they really are not that
cost effective for the amount of protein we need each day. I believe I saw
them through bariatric choice??? Not sure......good luck

I asked this question a while back and was told that there are but they
only have like 1 gram each and that would mean you need to take the entire
bottle in one day! I am about 5 months post op and getting the protein in
both eating and drinking can still be a task each day but it can be done.
Also, someone told me that we can only absorb about 30 grams a sitting but
how true that is I don't know so I just try to do at least 30 grams twice a
day thru supplements and then I get the rest via food. Good luck with your
journey!
