Which vitamines and supplements are recommended after vsg?

My surgeon recommended Flintstones CHILDREN'S vitamins for the first few months after surgery. Once my stomach was completely healed, he said that I did not need any SPECIAL types of vitamins, but recommended a good national brand multi-vitamin. He did not recommend the store brands because they do not always have the same standards as the national brands, but if you have a store brand that you trust, I am sure it would be fine. You do NOT need any special supplements or vitamins like the RnY or DS patients do.
