Your body works in funny ways according to my doc - I had a massive weight
loss in the first 2 1/2 or so weeks - nearly 30 lbs. Then, all of a sudden
3 days ago, nothing. I even went up a pound. I was old that my body is
adjusting not only to the surgery, but also to the big initial weight loss.
Make sure that if you haven't already, you take your measurements, because
many people report that even though the scale doesn't budge, our
measurements can. Don't worry - your surgery will still work, your body is
just trying to figure out tat the hell is going on with it.

I think almost everyone has this happen, I know it is very frustrating, but
we have all been there and the weight loss will start again. Your body has
just been through major surgery and is trying to figure out what you are
doing to it. My surgeon told me up front to expect something like that
during the first month, he also said that he doesn't consider anyone to be
in a plateau unless they go a month without losing anything. So no you are
not plateauing, your body is just adjusting. Keep up your eating plan and
follow all the rules and you will be shocked at the results! I am 5 months
3 weeks out and will hit the 100 pounds lost mark this week! If you
haven't started exercising and the doc says you can then get started, it
has really made a big difference for me in how I look and feel. Good luck,
you can do this!
