you will have problems holding your food down. some say that they get back
aches. vomiting is one sign that your band is too full. you will have to go
to your doc and get some of the fluid out.

When I have had to have an unfill because my band was too tight, I had an
inability to eat any solid food, when I tried to eat, I got stomach pain
and pain between my shoulder blades in the back. I will slime and
sometimes vomit. Heartburn, reflux, lack of weight loss are also signs.
At one point a few weeks ago, I was unable to even swallow my saliva and
had to have an unfill on a Saturday night after eating asparagus with a
very snug band. It is the only food that has bothered me so far. In
short, pain, inability to eat, sliming, vomiting, heartburn, reflux and
night coughs are all signs of your band being too tight. Try to do liquids
and take it easy on your stoma in case it is irritated and call your
surgeon to discuss. Sometimes it is as simple as something irritating your
stoma and it needs to heal a couple of days, sometimes it is not. The doc
should be the judge. If you do get an unfill, please beware of rebound
eating... sometimes people get so thrilled with being able to eat after
being too tight and so hungry, they get a little carried away and gain a
little.

I just went to the Dr. today for the same problem. One thing I wish I would
haveknow before hand is that once you slime or vomit, it's best to go back
to liquids for your next few meals. I think I could have avoided being
unfilled if I had this information sooner.
