Question:
Does medicare pay for arm lifts and abdominoplasty's and thigh lifts?
I have medicare and medicade and my wls was paid for 100% and I am having a breast reduction on next month that is also paid at 100%. I am wondering if they pay for arm lifts, abdominoplastys and thigh lifts. If anyone knows please let me know if u have had them pay or have had any problems. Thank u — SHAKEITHA M. Medicare just paid 100% for my abdominoplasty, I think having your
arms/thighs done might be a bit harder- They are also paying for a visiting
nurse to come to my home and take care of my wounds and drains.

My mother had a tummy tuck, about a year after her WLS, and it was covered
by insurance because she was getting yeast infections in the flaps of skin.

Hello,
There is a lady in my support group who was on Medicaid/Medicare and had
her entire body done just about. She went from a size 10 to a size 3. Its
just weird. But they did cover the whole thing at a 100%. Keep me posted on
your progress because I am curious to know what happens for you.
