My NUT ok'd me to do lunch meats as long as they are sliced thin and a
fruit or veggie minced or cut small. You can have whatever you need as
long as you have a cooler. Some Convenience stores let you use their
microwaves too, or they may make you but something but you can always use
water. Hope this helps, good luck!

Bring a scoop of protein powder and mix it with a fat-free plain yogurt or
use a shaker bottle and add the scoop to a small bottle of water.
Also, Taco Bell has pinto beans and cheese which is good.

almonds, kashi bars or south beach bars are great if the car isn't too
hot..as they can melt. I was told "no" to sandwiuch meats that
soon out...but cheese is good if you have a lil cooler..cheese sticks or
baby meat sticks in a jar. best of luck to you ! and congrats on coming
this far! hugs,kim

turkey jerky is great to keep on hand also.. however I dont know if thats
good at 6 1/2 weeks or not. But it requires alot alot of chewing which is
great also and it is high in protien.
