I use TwinLabs Calcium Citrate chewable. They're not unpleasant at all....
most others I've tried are really chalky tasting, and these are not.
They're more tart tasting (a little bit like a giant "Sweetart")
and I could eat them for snacks very easily. Two large tablets are 500 mg,
and I take them 3 times per day, so I get in 1500 mg. You can get calcium
citrate chewables from Bariatric Advantage (direct from the manufacturer),
but I think those are the ones that I felt were really chalky (and you're
supposed to suck on them as opposed to chewing them). Now, there's another
product that recently came on the market, and is only available at
BariatricEating.com....but they are apparently so good that it's like
eating candy. They are Calcet Lemony Chews.... I haven't tried them, but
all the posts I've read have people just crazy about them. I'm thinking
they're probably a little expensive, too... but it depends on what quality
of vitamin and mineral you want to put into your body, I guess.

$9.99 and there are 60 pills in the bottle. now if you go with the same
product with out the "D" then it is $9.99 for 100 pills. You can
ask your pharmacy to order them if they do not carry the m but I know that

Bariactric Advantage sells the chewables in lemon and chocolate. The
choclate tastes a little Tootsie Rolls. I'm using the unflavored crystals
now from BA and really like them. I mix it in my drinks. Less pills to
swallow. I've not found a chewable that I really like.

I used to order Oasis liquid cal citrate from GNC but the changed to a
glass bottle and breaks in shipping alot. I have switched to one that I
get from vitalady.com. Her site is designed for barriatric patients and I
have found so very useful stuff there. I am not associated with the
company, just a satisfied customer
