Question:
Something is wrong with my stitch?

Hi. I had open rny on jan 5. My doctor only used 1 stitch, which is above where he opened me. He told me not to mess with is that he will take it out on my 4 week check up visit. Well, i have a problem. It looks like my skin is growing over the loop in which he stitched it. It might even be dissolvable, but im not sure. Not to tell you what to do but you need to call and go into your dr. now. YOu are at the almost 4 week mark so they should not be upset. You don't want him to have to go in and cut it out or dig for it do you? At the very least you should make sure it is a disolvable however by now it would most likely already dissolved I beleive.
