Yeah, I wouldn't put any celery, onion or raw veggies until about 3 m/o.
Just a little mayo, salt and pepper. Bet you are excited to be moving to
stage two huh? Good luck!

2 tablespoons of light mayo and 1 tablespoon of sweet pickle relish. I
have ate alot of this and it is wonderful. Also you can do it with your
tuna salad. I'm allergic to tuna so i dont know how it will taste.

Hello,
Congrats on your surgery and progress! Every program and Dr's opinion
is different, I was able to eat tuna 7 days after surgery. My first bit of
advice is chew chew chew! This is a habit you must force yourself to
break! When I made tuna, chicken(canned/deviled) or egg salad, I used
mayo, sugar free pickle relish (kroger/king soopers/ralphs-depending on
where you live in the country) makes some that is sweetened with splenda,
salt, pepper, garlic powder. I then mixed it in a mini food
processer.(available at Target/Walmart etc. for around $8.00) And ate it
with a saltine. Yummy!
Just remember everyone is different and can handle things at different
stages. If something does not agree with you today, try it again in a week
or two and you might love it then!
Best of luck!

I'm 71 days post surgery or you can call it 3 months and a day, and I had a
wonder chicken salad this morning. I took cooked chicken breast and cut it
into small cubes, added FINELY chopped celery and a little granulated
onion, salt, and white pepper (black pepper is hard to digest in healthy
people and it kills me now), stirred in a little Miracle Whip light and had
a nice slow meal. I had enough to make two meals, and I had the second one
today. I'm okay with tuna salad made similarly, but I can't handle egg in
it now. Eggs hurt me for some reason. If pickle relish with the little
pieces of skin from the cucumbers doesn't hurt you, celary chopped really
fine shouldn't either. Everyone is different. Good luck. Dusty @};-
