Question:
GLACEAU VITAMIN WATER; ANYBODY TRIED THIS??
I'm located in Idaho and at our Albertsons grocery store is available GLACEAU VITAMIN WATER. Several different formulations such as for energy, strength and another just a general Multi-V. It is a 20 oz bottle, 50 cal per serving, 0 fat, 0 sodium, 13 g of carbs, 13 sugar, 0 protein BUT anywhere from 10-25% of your daily recommended values of Vits, A,C,CAL, E,B3, B6, FOLIC ACID, B12, B5, MAGNESIUM, ZINC. It's lite and very tasty. GOOD-BAD? Are the sugars too high? I'd like to hear anyone's opinion on this product. Thanks! Sandra — Sandra S. (posted on March 19, 2006)

hi Sandra - just going by the calories -carbs and the SUGARS- i would
bypass this product. The carbs are empty, and the sugars are over the top
for most of us. Try getting your vitamins from a different source. Thats
just my own opinion. I know I am only allowed foods with 3 grams or less
of sugar, and I can tolerate those, but if I accidentially picked up a
bottle of this stuff, and drank it, I would be in for some serious bathroom
reading. What does your Nutritionist suggest.
Good luck

I agree 100% with the above posts-- I am only allowed 2 grams of sugar from
any source such as sucrose (table sugar), high fructose corn syrup,
dextrose, and many other names it comes by. If it is more than 2 grams of
sugar and I read the ingredients any sugar type cannot be in the first 5
ingredients. But if it is soup, for example, and the "sugar" is
from carrots, peas, etc I am allowed to have it. This is what Barix
clinics teaches and works so far for me. Sure dont want to experience
dumping syndrome! Good luck.

Oh I forgot to add-- I also like the Fruit2O flavored water-- the peach is
delicious, no calories, no carbs, sweetened with Splenda-- makes it easier
to get your fluids in.

I was thinking the same things, thanks so much for the feedback! I do like
the Propel water also! I'll have to try the Fruit2o also!

YES, you will need to contact your Surgeon. Most surgeons don't want you
to only have 10 grams per meal.
