Question:
Anyone know the name of a tasteless protein that we can add to our foods?

I only ask again because the last thread i found was posted in 2001    — Trisha M. (posted on September 29, 2009)

Any Whey is a good tasteless protein, but Vitamin Cottage has one called Blue Bonnet Whey Isolate with a higher gram count than Any Whey (26 grams per scoop vs 17 grams). However, it's slightly higher in calories. I also try to get all my protein from food, but for those days when I've either had food get "stuck" and lose a whole meal, or when I've been running around without portable protein with me (BAD GIRL) and MISS a meal or two, I have several types of protein powders to supplement me. When I'm REALLY low on my protein requirements for the day, I might mix some unflavored protein into Kroger Carbmasters Yogurt (already high in protein), and then before bed, have a flavored protein drink that's specifically for bariatric patients, not one that's designed to "bulk you up". My favorites of those are the Syntrax Nectars Chocolate Truffle and Fuzzy Navel, or the Inspire Peanut Butter Cookie or Caramel Latte with a teaspoon of decaf instant coffee added.

Keep in mind that the unflavored proteins are not tasteless. They have a distinct taste that has to be disguised by mixing it with something.

my surgeon and NUT recommend ProCel. They say it is disolves in water and is tasteless. I haven't tried it yet cause I haven't had surgery yet.

Beneprotein is great! My doctor recommends, I add it to everything and never taste it.

My husband and I have been using Unjury unflavored. The dietian said that when putting it in hot foods, it's consistency might change (need a food to be 130 or under). Some people can tell it's there, others cannot. I've seen the BeneProtein and here that it's good but I have not yet tried it.
