Question:
revision scheduled stomaphyx blind loop syndrome
hi! 5 years out from open RNY i have a stretched stomaand blind loop syndrome( where theres a part of your intestine just hanging there leftover) i have a revision scheduled for april 9 im getting stomaphyx ( a way to fix stoma and shrink pouch down through your throat) i will also be having another open surgery to fix the blind loop syndrome and have more intestine bypassed, my new Dr doesnt think there was enough bypassed first time, i was just wondering if anyone would be willing to share their revision stories, as in recovery time, weight loss, etc.. thanks! I only know one person who had the stomaphyx procedure but she just had it
a few weeks ago...The last i eheard she was doing well and had already lost
11 lbs! So she's quite happy so far...I just wanted to wish you much luck
and success! I believe she posts at the revisions board...you might check
there for others who had the procedure!

I was just checking to see if anyone had much to say on this subject. I
will add that things have progressed much further with RNY and I am sure
that you will not regret having the corrections done. I know what a
different it is making in my life and I would do the whole thing over again
if I needed to. Best of success to you.
