Welcome to the Loser side & Good Luck! I am 2 months post op. Yes
avacado is great. You can try mashed potato with sour cream and a little
butter or cheese/ sweet potato. Any kind of cream soup. Jello/puddings.
Oatmeal /farina. I make home made shrimp soup with rice and cabbage and
it's great source of protein. Yogurts. I also made homemade fruit sorbets
with apple juice. Egg salad /tuna salad/ 1 scrabbled egg or omlet with
cheese. I hope this helped you..
Good Luck yvette

Refried Beans. Avocado is a mainstay for me! 100 calories Progresso soups
and puree or eat and pulverize the noodle/meatballs, etc. Meatballs good.
Ground any meat. Tune. Shrimp cocktail. Cottage Cheese. Melons.
Strawberries. Chili. There were all on my OK with the surgeon and nut for
me. Everyone is different. Double check with your surgeon/nut as always.
Good luck and welcome to the losers bench!

Julie,
Welcome to the loosing side of life. One thing I did was purchase those
Marie Callendar Crock Dinners that you can cook in the crock pot and put it
in the blender --leave out the potatoes though. To my surprise it tasted
pretty good. I would also eat chili with beans (none spicy) or pureed
chicken salad.
