Question:
When should I get an angel??

I am just starting the preperations for my WLS and I was wondering when the best time to get an angel is? Should I wait until I have a definite date or should I go ahead and get one now to help me through all the preps? Thanks in advance for your help all! God bless you!    — Gayla S. Hello Gayla.. First please allow me to say congrats in making one of the best decisions in your life.. Now I might suggest that you seek out an angel as soon as you can. Please note that your angel should be someone that you trust and can rely on in regards to make sure that any questions that you may have in regards of the journey that you are about to take. Whom ever you chose in regards to being your angle, make sure that he or she is doing what THEY are suppose to be doing in regards to their journey. Good Luck in your such.

I recommend getting an angel that is one of your friends that is at least a year out that has had the same type surgery as you are getting or have had. Someone who can guide you thru. You can choose one at anytime. This is someone you will have a personal relationship with and contact with between you and she reguarding what to expect, and the ups and downs of the journey. Thank you both very much for responding. I haven't decided whether I'm having the RNY or the DS yet but as soon as I decide that, I think I will start my search for an angel! God bless you both!
