I'm using Flintstones chewable vitamins. You have to take 2 a day because they are childrens vitamins. I won't comment on the post op liquid (protein) because I am very picky and have not liked much of anything - most things are just too sweet. However, as far as hydrating liquids are concerned, I like juices diluted with water (50/50) and water. Good luck to you :)

I use Bariatric Advantage chewable multi-vitamins and probiotics. You can order them directly from the manufacturer, and if you allow them to put you on a regular three-month cycle of shipping the 3 month supply of vitamins, they will send them to you without charge shipping fees. For my other vitamins (B-12, Vitamin D, TwinLabs Calcium Citrate Chewables, and Chewable B-Complex) I go to the Vitamin Shoppe. The Vitamin D gelcaps are very tiny and hold 2,000 IU, and the B-12 sublingual is pleasant as well. Plus, they are quite a bit cheaper than shipping, and they are all VERY high quality. My surgeon told me if he caught me taking children's vitamins, he'd be really upset, because no matter how many you take, they don't give us what we need.

Just for clarification, when the question was asked about post-op vitamins, I assumed you were asking about immediate post-op. My surgeon instructed me to take children's chewable vitamins (2/day) for the first three weeks after surgery. After that, I am allowed to take any multi-vitamin of my choice. Hope that clears things up :)

I used the Adult Gummy Vitamins at CostCo. Once you're able to take other vitamins like Calcium etc., be careful of the calorie and sugar counts of all the delicious caramel chews etc. If there are calories they are listed on the package. Best success.

Erica is right on the mark again with what she wrote to you. I take Nature's Plus chewables from my health food store. Also, I am not allowed to drink juice, so I use crystal light. I also take calicum citrate in the chewable form from Bariatric Advantage. You need to ask your dr or NUT what they want you to take.

I started out with chewable Viatv multi vitamins and their chewable calcium. I got really tired of the "vitaminie" taste that lingered that I tried the Gummie Adult Chewables. I found them at BJ's and they even taste good. I take two a day...Nurse said if I were to take any more I would just be making expensive pee..LOL

I used chewable Centrum until I could swallow whole tablets. They're orange flavored. Calcium tablets can be dissolved in liquid (like Crystal Lite type drinks) or crushed. I have used Citrical w/D since day 1 and I now can swallow those whole too. And I recently found Walmart to offer an equivalent in Equate brand for much less. Bariatric Advantage and other brands are expensive and in my personal opinion do not offer any added advantage. Regardless of cost though, it's what you will take consistently and if those brands taste better it's likely you'll be good about taking them every day. That's the #1 most important thing above all else. I would send off for samples first though. Everyone's tastes are different and can change after surgery too. Good luck & hope all goes well for you!
