I like grilled shrimp with lemon pepper. You can even put in a pan on the grill with some lite butter ( a little bit) and add garlic. Sounds good I think that is what I will have tonight

Seasoning them with Ms. Dash and a little butter and wheat pasta would make a great dish. Just be sure not to "recook" the shrimp because it will make them tough.

I like to panfry them in olive oil and garlic with some fresh parsley...Then pour them over top of steamed and mashed cauliflower seasoned with a little olive oil and fried garlic..It replaces the pasta but has a neutral taste that absorbs the garlic well and compliments the shrimp with some grated parm or romano it's awesome! I throw in some canned artichokes (brown when shrimp is almost done) and toss in some fresh spinach a the end til they wilt slightly! It's a beautiful tasty dish.... and I also like to use an olive tapenade (ready made jar if you prefer) and make some tofu shirotaki noodles (flourless) they are made from SOY!! They look JUST LIK spagetti...but they are protien and no carbs and only 20 calories!...a little rubbery texture but absorb flavor of whaterever you use and have almost NO flavor until you steam it with seasoning...so you get that spagetti-like side that is actually a soy product...Spagetti squash works well too! I also skewer those frozen shrimp and throw on the grill with grilled veggies over a fresh spinach salad and top with a warmed balsamic vingarette and some parm cheese and pine nuts! So many healthy ways without a carb side...But once in a while I still make pasta or rice and cook til firm, not sticky (for less carbs) and eat only a small serving...I would not recommend that in the early stages but more for a grad...Pasta and rice will still give me a "stuck" painful feeling....I DO NOT like that at all! So I greatly limit those...but once in a while I will have a little, and my family still likes that as well... Here's the site for the Tofu Shirataki "noodles" I use...There's even a shrimp recipe on the page! (I haven't tried it...looks good!

I love shrimp. I'm from the south and also live on the Gulf of Mexico, so we have lots of recipes for shrimp. I'm actually cooking some right now. It's my Grandmother's New Orleans style recipe: 3 lbs. shrimp 1 stick butter 1 tsp of ground rosemary 2 Tbsp of ground black pepper 3 oz worchestershire sauce 2 lemons place shrimp in pyrex dish. melt butter and mix all ingredients on stove. pour warm sauce over shrimp. heat over to 400, slice both lemons very thin and place over shrimp. cook in oven for 10-12 minutes until shrimp are pink. YUMMMOOOOOO!
