Question:
What would happen if I ate food post op in my liquid stage? Is it harmful?

Did you have RNY? Lap band? I would contact your surgeon asap and tell him....people on here can only give advice, we are not doctors. Remember...the "food you had to eat" was just head hunger. You HAVE to learn to fight that for the rest of your life.

My Dr had us on soft-foods the day after I got home from the hospital. We didn't have to do liquids only at all. Follow your Dr's protocol I'm sure you didn't damage anything.

If you continue to feel sick contact your Dr. My Dr. has me on liquids also and im almost 4 weeks out but some Drs. do put you on soft foods after 1 or 2 weeks.
