For me it is 1000-1200 but that is what my doc and NUT want. It is best to
check with your doc to see what he/she expects you to be at.

I think I consume about 1200-1300 per day. I find that my weight is still
going down but very slowly at that caloric intake level.

to maintain goal weight..I was told 1300 a day unless I exercise for an
hour then add 200 more.It works for me. Of course, at my clinic we are
told to consume as little as possible while losing. Limiting yourself (if
possible) to 2 ounces per meal. Best of luck to you. Hugs,Kim

It's insane for any WLS surgeon/patient to say that we should all consume
the same amt of calories. We are wildly different people who are similar
only in that we had the same surgery! Your intake also changes as your body
stops losing and you begin maintaining. If you eat 1800 calories and
maintain your weight loss then 1800 cals is a good amt. I didn;t even
count calories until I gained weight 4 years PO.At that point i needed to
use a food jornal and find some where to cut calories....That helped... I
learned I eat 1800-2000 calories to maintain 165 lbs. I have to cut back to
1400 ish calories to lose again. Use a calculator based on your age,
weight, height, etc! It's more suited specifically for you and not what
anyone else eats! You can find one here or do a search yourself to get an
idea...http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/
