I suffered hair loss when I was four months out as well. The only vitamins
I took were the four chewables w/iron a day. When I discovered my hair was
coming out I used an uncooked scrambled egg with my conditioner and left it
in for mins. My hair loss was over within a months time. I got a full head
of hair as I write... I am 16 1/2 months out and look like Luducris big
sister when he had all that hair on his head! (smile) OH

The two Vitamins I started using before my surgery and thus every day since
are Biotin 1000 - 5000 mg plus Zinc but no more than 50 mg as Zinc can burn
the insides of your pouch. But these two together with Increasing your
Protein intake to at least 80 grams a day woll start new growth. Which will
also include your Nails. I'm 9 months ot and haven't lost any hair.

This product is ok, BUT it is not a complete protein by itself. If you are
getting your other protein with whey, this would be a nice addition, not a
substitute. You might see the difference in your skin and nails more than
hair, since you are at that magic 4-6 months hair loss time. You can
ALWAYS add protein! I do 5 whey shakes a day (or more) and 1 serving of
collagen a day and have for many years now.

Biotin is great - the supplement you are referring to, never tried- could
help- when I lost alot of hair I reread my instructions which were to
increase my protein to over 90 grams aday. It helped the most. I use
isopure which is 40 grams a drink in friut flavors and I add them to my
diet teas etc. that match flavors and drink throughout day so I don't get
too much protein at any one time. Good luck
