Listen, don't try and do too much during this liquid diet. Don't worry
about exercises. Just chill out and lay low. You're not getting enough
nutrients to be exercising. I became a complete hermit once I began my
liquid diet. All I did was sit on the couch and eat popsicles. Good luck to
you!!

Hi there. I was on the pre op liquid diet for only two days and had more
trouble with that than the post op liquid stage for a month. It is hard,
but just rest, relax and prepare mentally for your surgery. You can do it.
The week will go by quickly and soon you will be on the other side. Good
luck to you!

It was also acceptable to eat protein and vegetable during this phase as
well. You will lose weight and your liver will shrink (that is what they
want) if you cut out the carbs and fats. good luck to you--stay healthy.

You need some complex carbs...Carbs ARE energy and if you are doing nothing
but protein you are not fueling your body...It's like trying to drive your
car with no gas! You don't need to eat sugar and cake...Just a piece of
fruit, some veggies? NSA 100% fruit juice! Your brain is a muscle and it
also functions on carbs...

I can tell you to eat lots of veggies and I wish I had eaten more meat than
the Liver shrink diet says. I ended up anemic and having 2 units of blood.
Eat you available food and listen to you body. Mine kept telling me to
eat more meat but I did not listen. If your body is saying you need more
than 3 ounces of meat, eat 4 instead and take a multivititum.
