Question:
Bariatric Eating.com reviews
I have heard this website mentioned many times and want to place an order. But with having to order in volume, I want to get the "expert" reviews on some flavors! I am thinking about the following items: Oh Yeah Protein Wafers, Revival Baked Protein Chips, and AchievOne coffee drinks. What are your favorite flavors and do you have any other favorites?? Thanks friends! — Deni (posted on February 19, 2008)

My favories are the Power Crunch bars. Revival Chips, any flavor are the
absolute best!! May give you gas though. I am not a fan of the Oh yeah or
the AchievOne. The microwave pork rinds are a must try and the sugar free
caramels are a treat. The revival apple crisps with their caramel sauce is
divine.

I first ordered the "Mocha" flavor of the AchievOne drinks and
then got brave and ordered the "Hazelnut" and
"Cappucino" flavors, (I'm not big on anything Vanilla). But my
fave is the "Hazelnut"..... All are really GREAT!!!! You'd never
KNOW the differance between AchievOne and Starbucks. (I think AchievOne is
actually better)

The Revival Soy Crisps are not bad. They are available as a variety pack,
so that if you don't like a flavor, it's only a bag (2 at most) that you
have lost. If you are part of a real life support group, though, you can
take anything that you don't like/doesn't agree with you and share with
them. Just as a funny, a non-surgical collegue is a health nut, and I
don't like Jalapeno, so I gave him the bag of Jalepeno Cheddar Revival
chips, and he thought they were pretty good!
Also, again, if you are part of a real life group, try to swap samples with
other members. What I've learned is that we are all different. We have to
keep in mind that this stuff is not as tasty as "the real thing",
but it's the real thing that got us to this point in life.
On that note, Whey Gourmet's Creamy Caramel Dip, Dark Chocolate Mousse and
Arctic Frappachino Frappe are excellent. Mix it up, as you can easily get
bored doing ANYTHING daily! For real adventure, mix those 3 powders
together in one shake...Yummy!
I thought the Parmesian Crisps were too salty for my tastes, but the apple
fruit leathers reminded me of fruit rollups from my kiddy days.
For cheapest shipping, expect to wait about a week to get your stuff, but
again, well worth it.

PS - Power Crunch Bars can be purchased at Costco in packaging of 2 boxes.
Also, I've noticed that 7-11 is carrying Protien Bars and you may be able
to find singles there. In my humble opinion, the Power Crunch Bars are not
bad -- but my head has a hard time wrapping itself around them. You may
also be able to find the 380 Calorie Oh Yeah! Bar at 7-11. I just bought
one because I've wanted to try it before ordering, as well. Admittedly,
Bariatriceating.com offers a sampler package of bars, and I think another
of protien shakes.
Have fun!!!

AcheiveOne is the best, with out the same Starbuck's calories and carbs. I
am 2 years out and also like to indulge in decaf. coffee with 2 splenda
packets and sugar free hazelnut CoffeeMate.

I really love AchievOne especially hazelnut. The Oh Yeah Protein Wafers
are really good, but I don't buy them anymore because I felt I was really
going overboard with them. The same with the Baked Protein Chips. I'll
probably go back to the wafers and protein chips when I know I have better
control over them. lol

Although this is not an answer to your direct question I thought you should
know... Some of their products are very pricey and if you look further on
the web they can be found for much cheaper.

Oh my gosh this is so funny. I just ordered and received a box of the
Revival Chips mixed flavors, AchiveOne Coffee drink in the Java Mocha
flavor, and the Oh Yeah protien bars in peanut butter. I love the coffee
drink and want to try the other flavors, the bars are great, and the only
chips I have tried so far and the salt and vinegar-pretty good.
