I try anything for extra protein...10-12 pumpkin (Squash) seeds (pepitos) depending on the size can add 8-17 grams of protein and a whole slew of vitamins and minerals as well as some good fat...I chop them up into salads and cereal and anything that a nutty flavor might taste good on. Just watch the calories! These little seeds are just-jam packed with stuff!

Are you referring to the new Whey 2GO Protein packets you mix with water that yield 10 grams of protein? I haven't tried it yet!

I have tried it myself. Not my favorite, at all!! I know that protein is important, but watch the calories, they do add upp. I have sprinkled protein into my oatmeal, in my soup, over my salad. My favorite protein extra is profect. 25g in one sip. You can't beat that.

I haven't but I have had Matrix Cookies & Cream Protein Shake and Pure Protien Bananna Cream. Both are very yummy and can be found here http://www.bariatriceating.com/shprpr.html

yes, I use New WHey...it comes in fruit flavors and I combine it with water. It tastes pretty much like koolaid. I couldn't stomach the protein shakes anymore. The liquid protein goes down really easy. The con...it doesn't fill you up because it's just like water. But you do get the protein.

Have any of you tried the Unjury unflavored protein? This is medical grade protein, 80 calories, no carbs, no fat and 20 grams of protein, I have ordered samples. I thought it would be good to mix with water and Crystal Lite. Also Kroger Stores have their own brand of the Crystal Lite On The Go tubes and I find them every bit as flavorful as Crystal Lite and quite a bit less expensive. I believe Wal-Mart has their own brand also but have not yet tried them.

I've only tried one type of protein water and I didn't care for it at all. I can't stomach any sort of protein drink. I drink milk, chocolate milk. I have tried the Wa-mart brand of "Crystal Light" and it's every bit as good. I bought the unflavored Whey protein powder and tried it in my milk but I could still taste it (granted it was not NEAR as bad) and it made it lumpy so I couldn't drink it that way either. I need to start just putting in my foods, that may hide the flavor better. Good luck!

There is a protien drink called Isopure. You can get it at GNC. It comes in a variety of flavors. Not bad tasting... I like Grape the best. Fruit punch isn't bad either.... It also comes in green apple, banana orange and one other one I forget the flavor. Best of luck
