I know you have to be uncomfortable but I don't think it's a good idea to
have a TT until you have lost another 100 pounds. The danger of blood
clots it still high and it may be impossible for you to find a plastic
surgeon willing to operate. You may want to talk to your Bariatric surgeon
to see if he has any ideas for a binder or something to make it more
comfortable for you to move around. Good luck!

I would suggest you talk not only to your bariatric surgeon but also a
plastic surgeon. Try to find a P.S. that is has performed surgery on WLS
patients. It will depend on your starting weight, how much you have lost,
your current health and body build and general health. Much luck!

Bonnie, you should consult with a plastic surgeon. I have read of people
having abdominoplasty at 300 pounds and over.
I'm two weeks out from abdominoplasty, and I weighed 222 on the day of
surgery. Ten pounds of skin and fat were removed. I exercise as much as two
hours daily, and the hanging skin did make some activities, especially
recumbent biking, uncomfortable.
Best of luck.

I think your going to be looking at a panniculectomy. This is done on obese
women to remove the hanging flap below the belly button. Best wishes:)

Hi. Are you postop? I agree wit the other posters that you need to get as
much weight off as possible. This not only makes the surgery safer, but
the recovery easier and the long-term results better. I have removed huge
amounts of skin and fat when there were skin infections affecting the
health of the patient.
