Question:
Thanks everyone for help re: nausea from protein powder
I just want to thank everyone for their suggestions, and I have ordered samples from Unjury Protein and from another company someone suggested, I think it was called BNS. I also took an excellent suggestion from someone which has helped ALOT. Someone suggested that rather than drinking the protein powder shake all in one sitting, keep it in the 'fridge all day and take sips of it throughout the day until it is gone. That has really worked for me and the protein no longer makes me nauseous. I put it in a shaker bottle, take it out, shake it up, and take a few sips throughout the day. I am so glad someone suggested that! P.s. I tried the Unjury protein in Strawberry flavor, which most people seem to dislike. I noticed the other flavors instruct to mix it in milk, whereas the Strawberry say mix it in water or lemonade. Well, I mixed it in milk instead and it tastes pretty good - like strawberry milk, I recommend doing that for the strawberry flavor! Anyway, thanks so much! Gina — Gina S. (posted on March 6, 2008)

You might also try protein capsules. They're called Capsul-Pro and you can
get them at www.nashuanutrition.com Good luck!

My hubby bought me the Unjury in vanilla flavor, so I made myself a big cup
of diet hot chocolate (put 2 packs of chocolate mix in which is 4 grams of
protein, then boiled some water, mixed it in with the chocolate, but left
room for 1/2 cup of milk which is 4 more grams of protein, then mixed in
the unjury and some cinnamon, plus 2 packets of splenda (cause I like
things sweet) and believe it or not, it was really good. First time I
could drink the protein like that, and it was a total of 28 grams of
protein to boot. But be warned, don't put the unjury in until after you
mix in the skim milk, cause hot water changes the texture of the unjury !
Hope this helps ya'll, for me it will be a lifesaver!

Not to burst your bubble, but... I was told by my doctor that the protein
breaks down if it sits all day. So you may not be getting the protein you
think you are. I know it seems much more convenient to do it this way,
but you may pay the price of not getting enough.
Good luck, Bonnie
