Hello♥...Maybe try 1or2 of the pain pills that you got to take
home from your surgery(if u have any) or just be open w/ ur doc, and if u
had a history of them before, you could ask for T3 or percocet(??)....Ive
often worried about the same thing, like, What if i get some pain that i s
just unbearable? Anyway...i think u got it right *winx* ask ur doc....and
let us know what you end up doin! BoL***

There are medications for migraines that can be taken. Check with your
doctor - you don't need to suffer! I get them...know what it's like. :-(

There are multiple prescription paid medications that are safe too. Vicodin
is one that comes in liquid or pill form.

your body is lacking some kind of nutrients. Check out

My Doctor says it's okay to take an NSAID every now and then. She says the
regular use is what leads to Ulcers, stomach bleeding, etc, etc.

I take fioricet for migranes. Yes it has caffineand other stuff we aren't
supposed to take. I suffered for 3 days and crushed one today and boy what
relief. I also take percocet daily(crushed) I just was prescribed liquid
valium(diazapam solution) for my back muscle pain when flexeril didn't
work. So there are many many many options for pain out there and on a side
note the valium is doing wonders for my neuroticizm(sorry spelling), and my
husband is happy again!! Good Luck to you

I suffer from really bad headaches ALL the time. Everything from tylonol,
vicidon, etc they don't help me whatsoever. I'm a licensed massage
therapist, and while I was in school I learned the ONE thing that actually
has been consistent on getting rid of my headaches. First I sit up and
gently rest my head forward and start stretching out the muscles in my
neck. Then I have someone (usually my hubby) start 'karate chopping' (non
technical term) my upper shoulders and my neck. Then I lay down on my back
and have him rub my neck from the bottom.. it uses the pulling up motion
for him and the weight of my neck and head to put the pressure into the
muscles. Especially if he takes his thumbs and pushes them up under the
base of my skull (major muscles under there that cause headaches). Finish
that off with a nice head rub including my forehead and temples and my
headache is usually gone within a half our to hour.
Now if he only wasn't deployed right now because I have a killer headache
right now and it's harder to fix it myself!

A migraine is a very specific type of headache. If you have true
migraines, a medication like Imitrex, Migrainal, or Maxalt will stop it.
These are Rx meds and will only work for migraines (they work differently
than pain medication). There are also medications that you can take to
prevent migraines.
If you are having headaches from other causes, prescription pain medication
might help, massage, cold pack or hot pack, or a combination of
tylenol/aspirin/caffeine (excedrin migraine, goodie headache powder) can
all be helpful.
My understanding is that while anti-inflamatories can cause ulcers and
bleeding, occasionally use, especially when taken with food does not have
much risk as long as you don't have pre-existing ulcers.
Best wishes.
