I HAVE MY SURGERY DATE! JUNE 5TH AT 9:30 AM!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED I COULD SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS! SOON I WILL BE ON THE LOSERS BENCH AND I CANNOT WAIT. JUST HAD TO SHARE MY GOOD NEWS WITH EVERYONE. HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND. CORA    — jnclshrum (posted on May 16, 2009)

Congrats Cora, My surgery date is May 26. Today was the first day of my 10 day pre op liquid diet. It wasn't too bad. Let us know how you are doing. Karen, Oklahoma

Congratulations! It's definitely worth it. I had surgery on 2/9/09 and have lost 86 pounds so far!

Congratulations Cora! My surgery is June 10 and I start my liquid diet on May 27. I just found out about a week ago and like you, I wanted to shout out to the world how happy I was. Good luck with your surgery! Keep me posted! Marcia

Congradulatons on your upcoming surgery!!! This is great news. Tuesday, I go to the surgeon to find out my surgery date. I can't wait to be in your position. Good luck and keep people posted.

Congratulations to all of you with upcoming surgery dates! You will all do great! Just remember walk walk walk and sip sip sip.....I am now 3 weeks post op and have lost 22lbs....I can't see it but I sure feel it. Good luck to you all......

Congrats! I am in my 6 week Post-op. I'm sure you both will do well. Walking may seem hard at first, but the more you do it, the more it will help! Dont forget to sip so that you can avoid dehydration! D. Spruill
