Does anyone know if Capital Districh Physicians Health Plan (CDPHP) covers surgery?

Does anyone know if CDPHP (capital district physicians health plan) covers the surgery to get rid of the loose skin,in the stomach area? I have had rashes etc.. This insurance is from the Albany NY area.    — gammiepat (posted on January 28, 2009)

It really depends on your individual contract. If you register for CDPHP's website member access then you can view the medical policies and see if the pannus removal is covered. When I had CDPHP it was covered if you had lost over 100 lbs and were more than a year post op, but your policy may be different
