Question:
Omega 3 Supplements

I am wondering if Omega 3 supplements in the gel capsule form absorb. I prefer not take Coromega if possible as I don't like the taste. thanks for any help that you can offer.    — Joanie J. (posted on February 20, 2008)

I switched to a liquid vitamin at GNC. i have been taking it for 3 mos now. Before that, I took handfuls of supplements and my labs didnt change very much. My last set of labs was incredible, my Docs were so thrilled. It is expensive comparitively but so worth it. GNC liquid ultra mega multivitamin. 30 oz, lasts a month. it is not terrible, and apparently I absorb most if not all of it. I am 16 mos. post op and I feel pretty good. I have gotten thru the sick season with no problems. is this what you were looking for? I dont know what Omega 3 supplements are used for, but thought i would pitch this none the less, just in case. I haven't found anything other than Coromega that would actually be absorbable. Have you tried mixing it with something else? I actually like the orange taste...but we are all different. It sure did work miracles on my good cholesterol numbers. So the stuff does work. Regards~
