Question:
Excellent protein drink
I am very impressed with the taste, quality and cost of the EAS Premium Protein Powder you can but from Costco. It is by far the best of all I've tried. The vanilla goes well with yogurt. I was extolling it's virtues to the manager of the bariatric program at Kaiser here and she said it is by far the favorite of the patients they see. Ends up about 50 cents a serving for 150 calories and 27 grams of protein. Tastes great with the 2% milk my doctor recommends. — loveathome3 (posted on January 12, 2008)

Thanks for your input....I have purchased a bag but I haven't tried it yet.
It's good to know....my surgery is Monday and although I'm drinking some
protein shakes, I decided to use up some others (Muscle Milk) that I have
on hand.

I also use this product. I have found it to be the best of the many I have
tried. I am 2 months post op. My 14 yr. old grandson drinks it also to
supplement protein intake because of all the sports he is in. I have never
been a malt or shake person so have also tried "New Whey'. I have
found I may like this even better if I mix it with the 16.9 bottle of water
so it's not so syruppy. This way I get the protein, water and vitamins
down in one shot. It is a bit more costly so have one a day and the EAS
for the rest. Good luck to you and thanks for sharing.

Another very good potein supplement is called Liquacel from Coloniel
Medical. 1 ounce is 16 grams of protein. It tastes like grape and is
actually pretty good. If I feel I haven't taken in all the protein I should
in any given day, I take a medicine cup (1 oz) of this and it is done. An
ER nurse recommended it to me, saying her mother takes it every morning. I
have found it is good to keep around incase you feel you are not getting
enough protein daily. I had some hair loss so it was recommended by my
nutritionist that I take 1 oz in the morning and 1 oz in the evening. It is
thick and tastes like concord grape.
