Don't know about the legs but when my hands tingle my pottasium is
dangerously low!!! (Low potassium can give you a heart attack).

Vitamin B12 deficiency is an often overlooked problem after bariatric
operations. You should have your level of this vitamin as well as levels
of other key nutrients checked routinely after surgery to treat obesity.
Otherwise maybe you just sat in one position too long.

You didn't say much about your surgery or supplementation program. When
they run your labs, do they check B1 and B12 both? Anything going on with
your mouth?

Greetings,
I do not know anything aobut the vitamin deficiancies, but a poster on my
"January" board said that this was happeneing to her and the
nutritionist advised her it was due to rapid weight loss in the legs. I
would definately ask my doctor, but several people responded with the same
issue.
Good luck. Please post your answer from the doc so we can all be in the
know. Thanks
Kristie

If you are having Restless Legs Syndrome then it could very well be an Iron
defiency. I had this problem every night and it nearly drove me crazy. I
now take an extra Iron supplement (Ferrous Sulfate) daily and have not had
a single problem since.
