I am 3 weeks out, and em enjoying such foods as sugar free jello pudding
with protein powder added, cottage cheese w some applesauce on top, pureed
egg salad (that I made so I can control the ingredients), tuna salad mixed
well with cream cheese, all kinds of soups pureed, soft scrambled eggs, and
f course, protein shakes because though there are many options, I can only
really eat about 2 oz at a time so I'm still lacking in protein. I even had
2 pieces of sashimi the other night - I chopped it up and took small bites.
Remember to chew everythign really well - it makes all the difference. I'm
3 weeks out yesterday and haven't had a problem wiht anything except yogurt
- I can't find one that is low enough in sugar (the greek yogurt is too
rich for me to tolerate). Good luck to you and I hope you do great!!!!

I had to stay on liquids for 11 days before I could try pureed foods. You
won't believe what I did at that point. I knew salmon had a lot of protein
so I got a Lean Cuisine and baked the whole dinner. I then put the whole
thing - salmon, veggies etc. - in the blender and pureed the whole thing. I
wasn't able to eat the whole meal and it didn't exactly look pretty but it
really didn't taste bad. I also pureed some chicken and ate it with chicken
broth. Hope you're doing well.
