Well, it's up to your doctor and yourself. My doc said I could have
regular coffee after 4 weeks. And I did!!!

Hello, we totally switched to decaff. My partner switched because she had
the surgery and I switched because I have an over-active bladder and
caffeine increases my trips to the bathroom. You can have just about
decaf, sugar-free anything. But, she eventually went back to full fledge
Mountain Dew. I don't know if WLS is going to alleviate my over active
bladder issue, however, we'll find out.

Just remember Coffee is a diareatic. So the more you drink the more you be
draining too. So don't use it for taking your meds/vitamins as you want
those to stay in your system as long as possible.

I had coffee the day I was released from the hospital in the Dunkin Donuts
located in the hospital . I found that I could not tolerate it though for
several weeks. Your body will pretty much let you know what you can and
can not eat. I just keep trying until I no longer felt sick from it. It
took me 2 years for ice cream. Now I can even have that in moderation,
like a tot size cone. That was the greatest thing for me because I LOVE
ice cream. Glad I can only have a tiny bit.
