Hi Cindy,
You will find that most insurance companies will NOT pay for TT or any
other type unless it is a medical necessity. I know that Tri-care will pay
for it. You will have to sit down with your PCP and see what he will write
up for u.

My insurance, Blue Cross, paid for my tummy tuck and arm lift. I took
pictures of every little sore/rash I got and submitted almost 50 pictures
taken over about 10 months. I still need to have my thighs done, but I
will have to pay for that myself someday.

I am not too sure how to get insurance to pay for it but I know that the
place that I got my gastric bypass has surgerons that do cosmetic surgery
at great prices. I was surprised to see how much cheaper it is to have it
done in Europe vs here in the US... Email me if you want....

We just had a plastic Surgeon speak at our support group. He said that he
can usually get the ins. co to pay for a TT if the person has back pain or
rashes but you must have proof. They will NEVER pay for thighs or breasts
because these are just not medically necessary.

To Stefanie D. can your Dr. prove that your back pain comes from the large
boobs?
