I also had difficulty with the pureed diet. I liked cheese soup, yogurt,
cottage cheese-pureed, peanut butter-TINY licks eaten VERY SLOWLY, mushroom
soup-pureed and strained. It was also suggested to me to try baby food but
I felt there were too many carbs in most of it. Basically I could try
anything that was pureed and the consistency of applesauce. Add broth,
milk (don't forget to include the carbs in your total), or water to thin
things out, anything too thick will stretch your pouch. Hope this helps.

Tomato soup with melted cheese helped early on.
Also mashed potatoes and refried beans.
Good luck!

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago today and one thing I have been enjoying is
strained cream of chicken soup. I have also been trying the fat free
yougart which also has been good. As far as protein drinks, I really like
the powdered Isopure Perfect Low Carb. The flavor I have is the Dutch
Chocolate. It mixes well with either milk or water...I prefer the milk.
It has 25 grams of protein per 6 ozs. Good luck!

I became really tired of foods that were already the consistancy of baby
food---so I made it up myself. Basically, if it will fit in my blender, I
purreed' it. A little hamburger w/cheese--yeah worked (broth added). I just
experimented, found what worked, stayed within my guidlines provided by my
after-care program, as far as fat and protein. Any way--good luck!
