Question:
Has anyone had a stricture opened several time and still closes what's next

Hi Lisa, YES, I have had to have mine opened 5 times. All is fine throgh. I had RNY 7/1/08 and am down 101lbs! I have stayed faithfuly on my protein drinks and got in what ever eatable protein I can. My surgeon has been wonderful about this whole thing. Also have spoken with a few people that have had the same issue. Not that many of us have this trbl. But, if I had thought about this before hand..I would of known I was a perfect candidate for it. Every time I have had surgery I have had trbl with to much scar tissue. But the up side is I am doing as I should weight is coming off and my health is GREAT! It was/is only a bump in the road of life to a new body with better health!
