Lucky for me, my plant was closing up when I scheduled my Tummy tuck -
wanted to get unemployment and rest in the first few weeks. I couldnt
start working out at gym until almost 4 mos. after. But I was walking and
traveling via airplane within a month of surgery. Got winded easily after
a month, so airport...not a good idea. But I would honestly say, moving
around would take a good 3-4 weeks before you can do it w/o winching
noticeably in front of others. But the lifting part - forget it, that
takes quite more time.

I had my pann and abdom on 7/1 and doing pretty well. I really turned the
corner on Monday...much less pain. There are still times that I feel a
knife sharp pain and dull ache the rest of the time. I also had a hernia
repair and mesh put in. Walking is the best exercise for now. Don't know
when I can return to regular exercise as each person is different. Good
luck to you. My drains came out on Wednesday and I can finally sleep like
a normal person. That was probably the hardest part of the surgery.
