I spoke to someone today that had WLS and said her surgeon said Tums helps
with nausea. Try nibbling a bit off and see if you can handle it and if it
helps. If so try a little more.

I have not had surgery Yet But I have had many bouts of nausea due to
medication I take now and from car sickness. So here it goes. You Might
want to try Ginger it is a natural way to treat nausea! You can get it in
so many forms including pills, crystalized( you chew on it like
gum),liquid, powdwered, or an inhalent from a health food store. It has
worked wonders for my nausea problems! I would check with your doc before
you take the pills but all the others im sure would be fine!Im not sure if
the crystalized one has sugar so ask the clerk before you buy that. good
luck!!! I hope I have helped you!

This is tough because hubby had the same problem for the first 2-3 weeks.
His doc told him to take him meds with a spoon of natural (no sugar added)
applesauce so that he wasn't taking the meds on an empty stomach. It helped
keep the meds from making him nauseous. It helped him tremendously,
especially since he is on some heart meds that he HAD to take. Good luck!
