Question:
Does anyone have a low-fat/cal recipe for pie crust?
I have developed the most wonderful, and healty chicken pot pie (filling), but I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to make pie crust lower in fat and calories? I'm not really into the bisquick type crust, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!! — tlg6056 (posted on April 24, 2001)

philo dough ? hummm if you skip the part where you have to butter each
layer may be correct but here is a recipe i had in one of my mincavie book
(a diet group just like weight watchers...)
ingredients: 1 cup ou flour, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 4 table spoon of low fat
margarine, 2 to 4 onces of cold water. just do like if you were doing your
regular recipe. this is enough for 6 little pie ou 1 9 inch pie.

I have seen both grated potatoes and grated zucchini used. Both worked
well and were delicious. The potatoe especially absorbed the flavors from
the chicken pot pie.
