Question:
I am taking 2 Flintstone chewables with iron a day...I was wondering if there are any
other vitamins that I need to take, or are the Flintstone chewables enough.... I want to make sure I do everything right, so I can get the best I can get out of this procedure.. Thank you all!!! — Ang B. (posted on April 4, 2001)

It really depends on the procedure you have had. Some require B12 and
additional calciums etc... Did your Dr just say the Flinstone? You can
always check back w/ the office to confirm or even the nutritionist to
ensure you are getting adequate intake.

I was told by my nutritionist that the children's chewable will be enough
for the first month to month and a half. Then she told me to start with a
prenatal and calcium citrate supplement (total calcium between 1200-1500
grams). She said the iron and B12 can be tested by your doctor to see if
you need any additional. Hope I could help.
