Question:
Can anyone tell me about the WLS support meeting at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston.

Jamie, I don't live in Houston anymore but I used to go to the meetings when I did. If everything is the same, they are from 3-5 in the meeting room. Look for the profile of Donna Daniel on this group and e-mail her. She was one of the starters of this group and can tell you if anything has changed. There is also an e-group for this group and it is called HWLSSG. Join it and they can tell you plus you can stay in touch with the people you'll meet today. I have some dear friends that I met there or even before there and I miss the group terribly.

I had RNY surgery in Houston ... is the Park Plaza meetings just for people who had surgery by a certain doctor at Park Plaza or anyone in Houston? Just curioius.

I went to the meeting today and it was very good. I'm silly and cried. But this group is for everyone. I got a lot of good information. The meetings are the first Sunday of each month, It's across the street from the hospital. At the educational center. Thank you to everyone that email the info on the meeting today....
